Mestrelab has been awarded with the Torres Quevedo grant by the Spanish Ministry of Science & Innovation within the “Programa Estatal para Desarrollar, Atraer y Retener Talento, Subprograma Estatal de Incorporación del Plan Estatal de Investigación Científica y Técnica y de Innovación 2021-2023”.
The Torres Quevedo program provides public funding throughout the three years of duration of the R&D project and is awarded to companies, state-level technology centers, state-level technological innovation support centers, business associations and science and technology parks. The objective is for the employment of PhDs for the development of industrial research projects, experimental development or previous feasibility studies, in order to favour the professional career of researchers, as well as stimulate demand in the private sector for highly qualified personnel sufficiently prepared to undertake R&D plans & projects and help the consolidation of recently launched technological companies.
